“It’s Too Perilous!”

The politicians we’re about to send to office need to clearly understand…they are walking into a job nobody in their right mind would want. It will be one of crisis management and mitigation, not perks and privilege. It is a job for patriots…or fools.
I’d like to share a few videos from the folks at National Inflation Association. While I disagree somewhat with their analysis (I believe we will undergo some substantial degree of price deflation before the wheels come off and that energy scarcity will be the dominating factor), the message they are delivering is hard bitter truth not sugarcoated pabulum.
This is considered ‘fringe economics’ right now…by the folks with the most to lose…those in power. A long view, such as that taken by scholars Reinhart and Rogoff in “This Time Is Different”, would suggest that over the 800 years or so of available data in western economic history this trend of economic self-destruction repeats over. And over. And over.
